Facilities
The Shamrock Centre is a huge facility that allows several venues to exist under one roof: a six lane bowling alley, curling rink with an over viewing licensed lounge, boardroom, community fitness centre, an ice arena with both indoor and outdoor viewing areas, and a large community hall with full kitchen for weddings/social events. A family room can also be found on the main floor for nursing mothers, quiet time, etc. The ice arena boasts six dressing rooms to accommodate several different teams, or to allow for different age groups and genders to have their own space. The curling rink also provides male and female dressing rooms, as does the fitness centre.
A variety of rates for each venue in the Shamrock Centre have been set to make large scale events possible (such as weddings, memorials), while still allowing smaller events (such as birthday parties) to be affordable.
